Brian Mitchell Band / Brian Mitchell and the Loisaida Social club, is the

primary source for Brian’s original music. It is an eclectic mixture of New

Orleans R&B, Blues, Roots, Latin and Jazz styles. Brian has released two

CD’s to date, A third CD is in the works and will be released in August 2007,

as well as a special Christams CD that will be available in November 2007.

House Of Diablo is the musical collaboration of Brian Mitchell and

Shawn Pelton. It’s a unique blend of electronics, Blues, Swamp Funk, and

improvisation. The music consists of original tunes by both members,

along with some offbeat covers. The band also features a theatrical side

with the addtion of gogo dancers, smoke machines, and laser lights when

the time and place are right. The music of House of Diablo was featured

on the soundtrack of Robert Altman’s film “Tanner on Tanner” in 2004.

The MONSTAS is Brian’s newest collabration with Matt Smith, Ernie

Durawa, Joe Morales, Rich Stanmeyer. and Aaron Lack. It’s New York

Meets Austin. An idea born out of Brian and Matt’s  repeated visits to see

their families in Austin. Ernie Durawa, from The Texas Tornados, brings

his mastery of Jazz, Texas Blues and R&B, along with some tex-mex

rhythms to the  table.

long-time associates to perform loungey, old school jazz renditions of
